A private blog about my experiences pursuing running & fitness goals. The title is a play on words from a Galileo quote (apocryphal), about how the earth really does move, despite his need to recant before the Inquisition. I listened to an audiobook biography of Galileo during much of my half-marathon training, and my day job is as a rocket scientist, so why not? :-)
I started running after my 42nd birthday, with an immediate goal of running a half-marathon . . . and a longterm objective of getting healthy. I want to live a long life with my family!
